SmartScoot™ is an easy-to-use, adjustable, fold up, portable mobility scooter. One of the smallest travel mobility scooters on the market, SmartScoot™ fits in the trunk of most automobiles. A versatile, travel mobility scooter, the SmartScoot™ features settings for both forward and reverse gear, three speed-settings (3, 5 & 7 mph), a battery strength indicator, a weather-resistant front wheel drive motor with disc-brakes, a parking brake, an adjustable comfort-designed seat as well as an adjustable steering column. The SmartScoot™ portable mobility scooter can also include an LED headlight, horn, and cane holder accessories. 

The SmartScoot™ travel mobility scooter also allows for adjustments to numerous parts for the comfort of the rider, including seat height, backrest, steering column, and wheel width. SmartScoot™ folds for quick storage in a trunk or other small space, and you can remove the seat and the battery or just the seat. The lightweight, portable scooter weighs slightly less than 40 pounds when fully assembled, with the heaviest piece being 27 pounds.

     The SmartScoot is a life changer for me. Because of MS, I can only walk a short distance with a wheeled walker or a shopping cart. The SmartScoot allows me to cover much greater distance so I can freely move about the world.My SmartScoot has been on 59 airplanes & I have a bunch more trips scheduled when the covid thing passes. My wife can easily lift this in & out of vehicles at only 40 pounds & you can easily remove the 5 pound battery & the seat post to make it even lighter & easier to lift. The back wheels can be narrow for inside tight doorways & medium for general purpose & wide for greatest stability. I ride the scooter right to a plane & my wife removes the seat post & folds the handle bars right down to the frame & wraps a cable lock around those 2 & puts the seat post back on the the ground crew puts it in the hold & brings it back to the door of the plane as soon as we land. I can go 5-6 miles on a charge & it goes up much steeper grades than ADA. If the hill is too steep, my wife pushes from behind, or if too steep going down hill, my wife holds me back so I'm not totally relying on the brake. I can sit on the SmartScoot all day long because the seat & seat back are so comfortable. Total game changer. Best two thousand of my wife's money that I ever spent.

    I’ve had my SmartScoot for almost 5 years and it has been outstanding for around my property and out and about requiring some distance from vehicle! It is easy loading in my van without breakdown and it’s 3 speeds are ideal for virtually every situation! Customer service has also been outstanding with immediate response in solving my minor problems! I highly recommend this mobility scooter !

    After only 18 months and minimal usage, the SmartScoot battery would no longer accept a charge. A replacement battery is $500! The battery was supposed to endure up to 500 charges, but it died forever after less than 50. If I have to keep replacing batteries this often, this scooter will be unacceptably expensive to own and operate.Great scooter otherwise. But the battery issue makes it impossible for me to recommend it to anyone.
